Photographs, plan sketches, and written notes are treated as a record of work done, not as marketing copy. Here is what that means in practice for anyone reading or contributing to the archive.
Before-and-after images are published only with the homeowner's written consent. Where a client prefers to stay out of frame, we shoot interiors, trim details, and material close-ups instead of people or personal belongings. Credits for any photographer or tradesperson who supplied images are kept with the original file.
Floor plan sketches are simplified for readability and are not construction documents. Material notes list what was actually installed, including substitutions made on site. If a drawing or note is later found to be inaccurate, we correct it and add a short note explaining what changed.
Street numbers, family names, and anything visible through a window are kept out of published photos. Neighbouring properties are cropped or blurred when they would otherwise be identifiable. Addresses are described by neighbourhood only, never as a full street address.
Any figures shown are reference points drawn from completed work, not quotes for future projects. Permit timelines reflect what happened on a specific job with a specific reviewer. Costs and schedules vary with scope, site conditions, and material availability, so treat them as context rather than a promise.
If something in a project entry is unclear, incomplete, or wrong, send a short note and we will look at it. Requests for additional context, such as why a material was chosen or how a detail was detailed, are welcome and often end up improving the entry itself.
